About my framing services

 

I offer framing and matting services for all of the pictures that I take.

 

I do NOT use standard framing stock.

 

Each and every frame that I produce is hand-crafted and finished, intended to accentuate the art of the picture and not be a distraction to the observer.

 

Since I use real wood and no framing stock, my frames are what you might call "basic".

 

Each is finished after construction which virtually gaurantees that no seems will split over time and in most cases are not even apparent in normal display environments.

 

Whether stained, painted or combination-finished, my frames will last a very long time.

 

I do my very best to choose matting colors that also accentuate the art of the image being framed - but requested matte colors will be accommodated where available.

 

Note that no two frames are eactly alike since they are each hand-made as needed.

Standard framings are with regular glass.  Large (bigger than 11x14) are negotiable for glass/plastic.  "Museum" glass types are available but will add significantly to the cost of the framing.
